Open Position: Business Analyst

Mosaic Consulting is looking to fill an open position for a Business Analyst to grow our team.

The business analyst will work closely with project managers and their teams to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of consulting services to solve client's complex needs. Our goal is to focus on all aspects of delivery, process improvement and innovation, providing clients with an exceptional level of service throughout the length of the project.  

Essential Functions & Capabilities

  • Supports the Project Manager

    Using advanced Excel skills and other data analysis and reporting tools to pull, analyze and present data in a logical and efficient manner.

  • Expert Analytical & Problem Solving Skills

    Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment, anticipate requirements, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Self-Starter

    Must be a self-starter with the ability and desire to take initiative and be proactive instead of merely responding to requests.

  • Attention to Detail

    Exhibit superior attention to detail and pride in high quality deliverables.

  • Strong Team Player

    Ability to create strong successful working relationship with clients and staff alike. Strong team player with ability to listen to others opinions and propose creative workable solutions to problems.

  • Excellent Communication Skills

    Able to articulate points of view clearly and succinctly, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Credible in communication with a wide variety of personnel and personalities including corporate executives, attorneys, business development personnel, finance & accounting teams and IT resources.

  • Strong Organizational Skills

    Be organized, able to multi-task, manage time well, and work independently to manage multiple projects at one time and prioritize as necessary.

  • Documentation & Reporting

    Draft project documents such as project plans, schedules, milestone and action tracking.

  • Support Internal Initiatives

    Support internal various Project Management initiatives.

  • Quick Learner

    Able to learn and understand the technical components of a software platform from the end user perspective.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Law, Operations, Finance or Business is preferred.

  • Microsoft Tools

    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

  • Experience

    3-5 years of experience working in a legal department, law firm, and/or corporate finance in the capacity of a paralegal or a law firm administrator is preferred.
