Mosaic Consulting, Inc. co-founder and President Dan Hamilton will be moderating a panel discussion at the upcoming Corporate Legal Department Operations Forum on September 27, 2018. The Forum is a Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute event and the law firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough will be hosting it at the firm’s Atlanta office.
Topics on the Agenda
A full-day event, the Forum promises a very informative and timely agenda. Dan’s topic of discussion, “Budgets, Bandwidth & Business Process: A Corporate Legal Department’s Guide to Strategic Alignment” is a perfect example. In this talk, participants will explore how modern legal departments are increasingly taking cues from the business world. As a result, legal departments are utilizing dedicated staff to focus on streamlining operations, reducing costs and providing added value to their organizations. The panel will share real-world examples of tools and techniques that modern General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers are using to innovate operations in their law departments and become true strategic business partners. Other discussions will touch upon issues such as change management, training and diversity.
The Forum’s organizers have designed the program to be interactive and engaging. Therefore, open dialogue and participation will be encouraged. Overall, the goal is for attendees to come away informed with a fresh perspective and new ideas.
Co-Chairing the event are Jon S. Hoak and Stephanie Corey. Stephanie is a Co-Founder of the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), the premiere legal operations professional organization.
Certainly, this will be a great event. We hope to see you there in our home town, Atlanta!
